Racking types include rail-mounted, tile-hook, flashed L-foot, ballasted, and clamped canopy rails.

Panels are never left loose on a roof overnight. They come down to padded racks on site or into a secured trailer at the end of each detach day, and when a roof schedule stretches past the forecast we move them to secured off-site storage. Afternoon thunderstorms are a given here, so the staging plan assumes them.
