Nothing on a Florida Solar Reset quote is a mystery number. Here is each thing that moves a price, why it moves it, and what you get for it.
Licensed electrical work
In Florida, disconnecting and reconnecting a grid-tied solar array is electrical work. A roofing contractor cannot legally do it, and it has to be done to code with the utility interconnection handled correctly on the reset. That licensed labor is already inside our per-panel rate.

Panel count is the single biggest driver because it is the actual hours on the roof. The rate is all-in: crew, licensed electrical, travel, storage and insurance.

Each plane is its own layout to map, label and rebuild, with its own racking runs and wire management.

It is slower than a driveway drop and it needs floor protection and blocking so nothing leans on glass.

Dead or decommissioned array
It does not change the removal price — but it is priced as a removal, not a reset. We are not putting a dead array back up and calling it working.
You get an honest scope: the array comes off and is disposed of or left staged, with no reconnection promised that cannot be kept.

Leased or third-party-owned system
Coordination and notification before anyone touches the array. It does not raise the price, but it can affect the schedule.
We handle the notification paperwork so the homeowner's lease and warranty stay intact.

A battery has to be de-energized, isolated and safely locked out by a licensed electrician, then recommissioned in the right sequence.
