Permanent solar panel removal and disposal

Florida Solar Reset removes a rooftop solar array for good — panels, racking, conduit, and mounts come off, every penetration gets sealed, and the panels are hauled away for recycling or resale.

Sometimes the array is not going back on: the system is dead, the panels are decades old, an insurance carrier wants it gone, or a new owner does not want it. This is a one-phase job. We disconnect at the inverter, strip the array and racking, patch and seal each mount penetration, and take the panels with us.

Best if: the panels are coming off and not going back on.

How it works

1. Disconnect and document

System is shut down at the disconnect and inverter, voltage-verified dead, and the array is photographed as found so there is a record of the roof and equipment before anything moves.

2. Strip and seal

Panels, rails, mounts, conduit, and rooftop equipment come off. Every fastener penetration is patched and sealed, and we flag any decking or underlayment damage we uncover with photos.

3. Haul away

Panels leave on our trailer the same day. Working panels go to resale or reuse channels where possible, and the rest goes to an electronics recycler rather than a landfill.

What permanent removal costs

Removal and haul-away is billed per panel with a job minimum. Inverter and battery removal, conduit chasing inside walls, and structural carport teardown are quoted as line items.
